Down Syndrome-Autism Connection Monthly Chat

The Down Syndrome-Autism Connection convene its regular Zoom chat the last Tuesday of every month.  The DSAC invites all families affected by Down syndrome and autism, including families who recently got an autism diagnosis, to join them. 21 Shades Support Group Meeting

This is a virtual event.

Join the 21 Shades group, an inclusive support group for all families of African heritage in Massachusetts who love someone with Down Syndrome, for a monthly meetup. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7-8 pm. Monthly support meetings consist of check-ins, topic specific educational workshops, and social activities to engage families.  For more information please email Jessica at javila@mdsc.org.

Mass Audubon: Trails at Meadow Brook

Families of children with Down syndrome and expectant families are warmly invited to join us to have some fun and make valued connections. Grandparents and siblings welcome.

Admission Free for Audubon Members and Worcester Residents. Non-members: Adults $4, Seniors $3, & Children 2-12 $3

Sensory Trail is 1 mile, roundtrip The trail begins at the Visitor Center it is stroller friendly.

Let’s Cook!

We invite families with children with Down syndrome, ages 8 and up, to join us for an afternoon cooking session. We’ll talk kitchen safety, cooking set up, and together we will make two delicious brunch items for you and your family to enjoy! Recipes and registration coming soon.

Baby Sign Language (in English + Spanish translation track)

Interactive Sign Language workshop with Lane Rebelo, the founder of Tiny Signs, an award-winning sign language program!

We are happy to co-host the workshop with the Boston Children’s Down Syndrome Program. This workshop is geared for parents of infants and toddlers. For the first time, we are offering a Spanish translation track as well.
