Down Syndrome-Autism Connection Monthly Chat

The Down Syndrome-Autism Connection convene its regular Zoom chat the last Tuesday of every month.  The DSAC invites all families affected by Down syndrome and autism, including families who recently got an autism diagnosis, to join them. 21 Shades Support Group Meeting

This is a virtual event.

Join the 21 Shades group, an inclusive support group for all families of African heritage in Massachusetts who love someone with Down Syndrome, for a monthly meetup. The group meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 7-8 pm. Let’s Cook!

This is a virtual event.

We invite families with children with Down syndrome, ages 8 and up, to join us on Zoom for an afternoon cooking session. We’ll talk kitchen safety, cooking set up, and together we will make two delicious recipes for you and your family to enjoy: savory breakfast casserole with tater tots AND Oreo cookie truffles!

Project Explore

This is a virtual event.

Part of the MDSC Advocates in Motion program, this new pilot series is especially for youth ages 16 to 19 to get to know one another and explore shared interests.

We are wrapping up the year with some summer fun! Wear your favorite summer clothing, sun hat and sunglasses for added fun. More information will be sent before the event.

Baby Sign Language (in English + Spanish translation track)

Interactive Sign Language workshop with Lane Rebelo, the founder of Tiny Signs, an award-winning sign language program!

We are happy to co-host the workshop with the Boston Children’s Down Syndrome Program. This workshop is geared for parents of infants and toddlers. For the first time, we are offering a Spanish translation track as well.
