Join us for an informal way to meet other newer families, share and connect for families whose child with Down syndrome is 0-3 (until 4th birthday).

Join us on Saturday, October 1 from 1:30 – 3:30 pm (stop by anytime) for a meet up with families whose child is 5-12! Come to the back area of the shop and we’ll have a ticket for one free drink per family! We can’t wait to see you!

Join us on Sunday, October 2 from 10 – 11 am for a fun, free, and interactive music session with Evan and MDSC adult Ashley DeNoble. All ages welcome!

Samantha’s Harvest will hold it’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament on October 14, an exciting event with food, contests, golfing, and more at the Thomson Country Club in North Reading. Put on your spookiest costume or festive fall attire and dance the night away to all your favorite hits played by DJ Dan! In addition to music we’ll have snacks, drinks and some fun games! The Down Syndrome-Autism Connection convene its regular Zoom chat the last Tuesday of every month.  The DSAC invites all families affected by Down syndrome and autism, including families who recently got an autism diagnosis, to join them. Given the excitement and importance of the recent Higher Education Bill passing, the MDSC is pleased to offer a webinar on the Massachusetts Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative (MAICEI) on October 26th.

Our presenter Mary Price, Director of MAICEI, will give a full overview of MAICEI, explain the steps on how to become a partner with the program, and how families can advocate for their student to attend the program. You will have the opportunity to submit a question when registering and/or ask a question during the live presentation.
